"Chef Aubrey did an amazing job cooking for a surprise anniversary dinner for my wife and me. My wife recently had to go gluten free due to celiac disease and it’s been hard losing out on a lot of favorite dishes that restaurants typically don’t bother to make gluten free. I wanted her to be able to enjoy these dishes again.
I posted online looking for a chef, with some ideas for what dishes to make. I could tell right away that Chef Aubrey understood the vision as she titled her menu “gluten free favorites reimagined”, and she incorporated my ideas, while also elevating them to the next level. We discussed the surprise dinner logistics over the phone and tweaked the menu. I was really particular about what I wanted, and she was extremely professional and accommodating. She was also very thorough, paying attention to really understanding what I wanted, even down to what plates we should use, etc.
On the day of the dinner, she delivered exactly as promised. The onion strings were unbelievable. My wife missed having them at the Hackneys restaurant, so Chef Aubrey researched it and managed to make a gluten free version, even down to having it look exactly the same in a massive breathtaking tower of fried onion bliss!
The gluten free oreo pie was also to die for! It had the perfect texture of a nice thick Oreo crust, and a mix of little Oreo bits, entire cookies, a creamy filling, and then whipped cream on top. It is impossible to imagine a better version of an oreo pie.
The rest of the courses were also very thoughtfully created and all delicious as well, including a shrimp tempura salad, a lobster bisque, and a Parmesan and pesto crusted steak. She also made a delicious mint and cucumber water as a drink.
Chef Aubrey really went the extra mile, leaving the kitchen spotless when she was done and having all the dishes in the dishwasher. She was really friendly and she was such an integral part of making the surprise dinner feel so special, and she seemed genuinely honored to be a part of our anniversary.
Overall, 10/10, amazing food, personalized service, and a great attitude. Thank you Chef Aubrey!!"

"Used Chef Aubrey for my husbands surprise 30th birthday dinner. She helped pick a menu tailored to what he likes and was very professional! She showed up with very fresh ingredients the night of the dinner and did the prep work here so we could really see and taste the freshness of the ingredients in our dinner. It was the best chimichurri we have ever had, phenomenal food! I loved the different courses and how it all tied together. She answered all of our questions we had about the dishes, then cleaned up and made our kitchen cleaner when she left than when she arrived! Also makes a mean mango margarita! We will definitely be using Chef Aubrey again!"

Her raspberry thumbprints were RIDICULOUS. Everything you want in a cookie: a tender crumb, not too sweet, with a DELICIOUS raspberry filling. The guests raved about them. They truly could not have been better.
